Arrived today... bit of a visual mess as far as the gatefold interior layout goes (misspellings, and the artwork of the 2003 cd singles (included as bonus tracks on the second lp) are just sort sort of haphazardly placed together), BUT, I will say the pressing is VERY good. Heavy, flat and virtually zero surface noise.
Ironfire
Personally i have nothing against the artwork, that respects the original. But the bonus tracks order spoils the LP listening as they put same song after the other. And what version of Bathtime is the second one, if it is indeed a different version? No credits for the bonus tracks, but still good to have in the reissue.
Agagamand
Agree! Bit of a mess visually but the pressing sounds incredible.
White_Nigga
Anyone else noticed a problem on side D of the LP, where Bathtime plays at times slower than normal, or is it just my copy?

Life in Rented Rooms"And when the cab ride ahead seems too long, we go fuck in the bathroom, we can't afford the time to sit and cry or to wonder why" - it sounds sad like living a rented life, like loving the last time and that are undiluted Tindersticks for you at their best. Songs for lovers in despair, for late night departures, for falling apart and running away. For those who has left all behind and all who can see no light ahead: lonely, crying violin and full of regret and abandoned hopes sotto voce vocals, vocals that would have sounded the best in the end of the world. "Don't tell me of those mirrors, I'll show you what you want to see. Pay no mind to those voices, I'll show you what you want to hear" - don't pay attention to the world outside, world within, behind curtains is enough.
Yanthyr
I seem to remember hearing this was limited to 500 copies, any idea? Also I think half are signed by the band and half unsigned.
