I guess we all have that one special tune that we wonder why wasn’t it a hit. My top choice for that title? ’Belgian Resistance’ by Sharpside. I understand that my preferences are just mine. But still I I feel that I can judge when a song has right amount of elements in right places. And you see, for me it’s perfect and it’s special. But from analytical or even objective point of view, what gives? It’s hard hitting, it has got a massive break down early on, big chords, atmospheric, a tidy bit emotional, and everything in its right place. Is it too trance-y for techno puritans? Or is it the lack of vocals for trance heads that makes it too mechanical and cold. Or is it just that despite having all the right elements in right places in right amounts, was it was released a year or two too late? I don’t know but I must admit I sometimes wonder. But then again, maybe it’s just me. Maybe I just should be able to enjoy music despite its popularity with other people. Well, usually I do. But if you haven’t listened to ’Belgian Resistance’, you should. You really should.
evil as fucking brooding cunting menace of a track!!! .
Amazing chords on here, this had me almost fooled Mike Banks or Los Hermanos are on the keys. Euphoric.
