John Gary was one of the most gifted and amazing vocalists of his generation, with legends as diverse as Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley both singing his praises. His range was huge, 3 and a half octaves, and his breath control and diction only matched by Sinatra himself, but what makes this Christmas album so special besides his velvet voice is the great orchestral arrangements by Peter Matz of Barbara Streisand fame. The legendary Norman Luboff Choir provides the background vocals and they are exquisite as well. Was happy to find this because I owned it on vinyl record and absolutely loved the album. John Gary had one of the very best voices and this Christmas album is wonderful. One person found this helpful.
