VERBAL ABUSE is a seminal American hardcore act formed in 1981. They released their debut full-length studio album "Just an American Band" in 1983. Rocks Your Liver" followed in 1986. An album which incorporated metal elements. VERBAL ABUSE released their third studio album "Red, White & Violent" in 1995, on which their music style had shifted to crossover thrash metal.

Verbal Abuse recorded another album in 1995 entitled Red, White and Violent, which was released on Century Media Records. This incarnation of the band toured one final time in support of the record and disbanded soon afterward, with no intention to ever reform. Slayer releases Verbal Abuse cover songs, sparking new interest.

Verbal Abuse is a hardcore punk band started in Houston, Texas (USA) in 1981 after singer and song writer Nicki Sicki quit the band Sick Pleasure and moved to Virginia, then back to Texas when he decided he wanted to start another band.

Verbal abuse (also verbal attack or verbal assault) is the act of forcefully criticizing, insulting, or denouncing another person. Characterized by underlying anger and hostility, it is a destructive form of communication intended to harm the self-concept of the other person and produce negative emotions. Verbal abuse is a maladaptive mechanism that anyone can display occasionally, such as during times of high stress or physical discomfort.

Bud" and "American Band" are not mentioned on vinyl version's track list, but still are on the album. Vinyl re-released by label Bitzcore in 1987 with the above mentioned mistakes corrected.
