pretty darn good record. three tim hardin tunes, some great john boylan stuff...a little "produced" but a very solid example of the straight-early-sixties-singer-goes-hip genre.

The album that began Rick's creative comeback coincided with the birth of his twin sons, Matthew and Gunnar. After a couple years' flirtation with honky-tonk country (a return to his roots, really), he enlisted the help of producer John Boylan to create "Another Side", which featured some truly fine covers of contemporary John Sebastian and Tim Hardin songs, a collaboration with old friend James Burton, and two of his finest singles of the era, John Boylan's "Suzanne On A Sunday Morning" and his brother Terence's "Promenade In Green", songs that set the standard for progressive country rock - the type of songs that led directly to the formation of the Stone Canyon Band, and contributed to the birth of the Eagles. A wonderful record and a must to own for any Country-Rock lover.
