Jacob Levy Moreno (born Iacob Levy; May 18, 1889 – May 14, 1974) was a Romanian-American psychiatrist, psychosociologist, and educator, the founder of psychodrama, and the foremost pioneer of group psychotherapy. During his lifetime, he was recognized as one of the leading social scientists. Jacob Levy Moreno was born in Bucharest in the Kingdom of Romania. His father was Moreno Nissim Levy, a Sephardi Jewish merchant born in 1856 in Plevna in the Ottoman Empire (today Pleven, Bulgaria).

I had the strange feeling that such an album would look weird in my discography, too commercial - like I didn't have any new tricks up my sleeve, and yes, I always have plenty. Music has never ceased to bless me with new ideas and new tunes. So why on Earth should I embark on such a trip?
Moreno lived in the East Village at the time, and took his inspiration from the cast of motley real-world characters he saw every day. In addition to the English captions, Gene Kong features some artist-approved tweaks to the original artwork. All the scans were from the original artwork and Pepe went in and did minor touch-ups and EFX additions. It really looks stunning.
