The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band that formed in London in 1975. They were responsible for initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspiring many later punk and alternative rock musicians. Pistols had that raw energy that makes The Clash seem precious to me. The whole Bollocks album is punk through and through however. My hardcore band in the 90s covered Pretty Vacant quite a bit when we played live only we played it quite a bit faster. With a much more of a grind for tone!
