Apparently Act of Gods' debut demo struck Osmose Productions' fellas so strong, that they decided to reissue it as an EP titled 'Dies Irae' a year later, in 2004. Well, I thank the label for doing it, and the band for this blasting and brutal experience. This French band was formed by ex-members of Mutilated and Abyssals (neither of which have I heard, sadly). The last thing heard from them was in 2006 when they released their sophomore album.
The band Act of God was organized in Perm in 2001. In 2003 Rock-Line studio recorded the first album For demon (Oupiric Prod). Lively concert activity (Moscow, St-Petersburg, Ivanovo, Ayroslavl) brought a large return among Russian metal-underground. The band’s sound becomes different, new material is heavier and faster than the first one. In 2005 the band released very brave album "The Place of Worship" (Musica prod, 2005), which has no copies, it’s a kind of death/black metal and women’s opera vocal. The texts are overfilled with Satanism and men’s hatred. In February 2010 Act of God recorded new album at Studio-X (poland) produced by Szymon Czech.

DIES IRAE is a Krautrock, Progressive Rock artist from Germany. Extended psychedelic electronic collages and free form jams were also included on the sole album. Despite recording just one single album the band created some waves in the summer of 1971 when most German radio stations refused to play anything off their album because of controversial LSD induced lyrics with sacreligious conotations.
