The Hanatarashi – We Are Hardcore. Label: Black Operations – none. This is a reissue of We Are Hardcore. Extra tracks are appended to each disc, and an additional CDr (which features the material from ハナタラシ + 恐悪狂人団 - 地獄の子守唄 ) and DVDr (which features the Cock Aktion VHS in its entirety) are included. Some track titles vary slightly from the original issue, and some track times are also different (ranging from a single second up to two minutes). The discs are housed in individual PVC sleeves. The original five discs each feature full colour artwork which was only included with a small number of the Superman Cha Cha sets.
Hanatarashi (ハナタラシ), meaning "sniveler" or "snot-nosed" in Japanese, was a noise band created by later Boredoms frontman Yamantaka Eye and featured Zeni Geva guitarist Mitsuru Tabata. The outfit was formed in Osaka, Japan in 1984 after Eye and Tabata met as stage hands at an Einstürzende Neubauten show. After the release of the first album, the "I" was dropped and the name became Hanatarash. They used a variety of unusual noise-making objects, including power tools, drills, and heavy machinery.
