Uprising is a 1980 reggae album by Bob Marley and the Wailers. Marley died the following year, and Uprising was the final studio album released during his lifetime. This album is one of Marley's most directly religious, with nearly every song addressing his Rastafarian beliefs, culminating in the acoustic recording of "Redemption Song". Uprising peaked at on Billboard's (North America) Black Albums chart, and on the Pop Albums chart.

April Uprising is the fifth studio album by Australian roots band the John Butler Trio. The album was recorded from late 2009-early 2010 in Fremantle, Australia. The album's name comes from Butler's appearance on the television documentary series, Who Do You Think You Are, where he journeyed to Bulgaria to find information about his ancestors. If the only track on UPRISING worth listening to was it's best "Redemption Song" then that alone would be worth the price of admission. But this album was so very much more than that one song although it gets all the praise and to an extent rightly so. This album may be the most openly "Rastafarian" of all of his previous releases and has many undertones of his spirital and philosophical beliefs.
