The album is 56 minutes long. The sound quality is not great, but I think some of that was intentional. The first half of this album has a mid sixties psychedelic sound to it, except Free Love Mess Me Up, which sounds like sixties pop like something Brazil 66 would do. The second half of the album is more performance art, similar to something Laurie Anderson might do. This is a concept album about selling out. It ends with Fred Neil's Everybody's Talking which was popularized by Harry Nilsson and the Midnight Cowboy soundtrack.

What turned out to be Bongwater's last album before the acrimonious end of the personal and professional Magnuson/Kramer partnership was a sellout only in the sense of the slick cover art and presentation, tongues firmly in cheek. Otherwise, the blend of folk, shadowy psych weirdness, and satiric spoken word and lyrical jabs against the state of the world, specifically America, run as rampant as always. Rick was replaced on second guitar by Raymond Hudson, but this made little general difference to Bongwater's overall approach and Kramer's distinct production style
