Ainsworth Roy Rushton Shirley (18 July 1944 – July 2008), better known simply as Roy Shirley, and also known as King Roy Shirley and The High Priest, was a Jamaican singer whose career spanned the ska, rocksteady and reggae eras, and whose "Hold Them" is regarded by some as the first ever rocksteady song. He was also one of the original members of The Uniques.
Love Love Love is the debut studio album by South Korean singer-songwriter Roy Kim, released and distributed on June 25, 2013 through CJ E&M Music. The album features nine tracks in total, and spawned two hit singles: the million-selling hit "Bom Bom Bom" and the lead single under the same title. Due to the album's success, Kim earned a Mnet Asian Music Award for Best New Male Artist, and a Golden Disk Award for New Rising Star Award in Disk Album.
Love is the eponymous debut album by the Los Angeles-based rock band Love, and was released in March 1966 on Elektra Records. Arthur Lee, who was originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but had lived in Los Angeles since he was five, had been recording since 1963 with his bands, the LAG's and Lee's American Four. He had written and also produced the single "My Diary" for Rosa Lee Brooks in 1964 which featured Jimi Hendrix on guitar.
More Love is the fifth studio album recorded by American country music artist Doug Stone. Released in 1993 on Epic Records, it features the singles "I Never Knew Love," "Addicted to a Dollar," and "More Love," all of which were Top Ten hits on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts. More Love" and "Dream High" were both featured on the soundtrack to the 1995 film Gordy, in which Stone starred.
Black & White Night. On the other hand, the performances are extremely reverential to the established studio versions of the songs (all of the hits are here), and intended to mimic them, so this isn't quite the same as a live album as it would have been done back when. The pity is that neither Monument nor MGM ever taped any complete concerts by Orbison from the 1960s, and all that remains are TV appearances from Europe.
