South himself recorded the song in 1968, and included it on his second album, Games People Play. Deep Purple and Kula Shaker had later hits with covers of the song.

Sam Boatright is a 21 year-old Lawrence native and has created music under the Hush Machine moniker for several years; however, he has just recently started sharing his music with a grander listening audience. The songs on Hush Machine’s self-titled debut album were all written and recorded during Boatright’s junior and senior year of high school in 2013 and echo winter nights driving around lonesome as well as muggy summer days, lounging around with friends.
