Big Country - Another Country album mp3
Big Country are a Scottish rock band formed in Dunfermline, Fife, in 1981. The height of the band's popularity was in the early to mid 1980s, although it retained a cult following for many years after. Lyrics to "Another Country" song by Big Country: In another country I lay me down Beside the waters I dream aloud Ha ho ho ho ho ho I lay me down . .A nation cries out In the name of freedom And the human race Cannot be run alone. In another country Across the two divides In another country I lay down I lay down I lay down. Wo ho ho ho Wo ho ho ho This is another country now. Wo ho ho ho Wo ho ho ho Another country born of life. It has no past Knows no bounds Where only the lost Can now be found. So dream aloud. Ha ha ha ho ho ho. Across the two divides. This is another country now. Wo ho ho ho Wo ho ho ho Another country born tonight
He writes the songs, but maybe he’d better stick to singing. But it would mean more if the song wasn’t so lukewarm. Walking In Sunshine is Vegas-revue self-help optimism over pencil-neck Eighties big beat, recalling Katrina & The Waves and Eddie Grant with a baffling Gypsy Kings-style breakdown. We Can Win is a tedious football chant driven by Celtic fiddle and a Mumford and Sons singalong. The ballads are worse.
Rod hadn't bothered composing a tune in nearly two decades when he decided to write a brand new bunch of songs for 2013's Time, an album inspired in part by his 2012 memoir Rod: The Autobiography. Arriving after ten years of Great American Songbook albums, the change in style and song was refreshing, something fans (and some critics) noted
