In the 1940’s, the brothers formed the Golden Jubilees Quartet. This group consisted of the brothers along with family and friends from the Alto and Richland Parish Louisiana area. After a decade or more of spreading the gospel of Christ through song, the group disbanded but not without renewed purpose and meaning. From that experience, a new group emerged, The Southern Travelers.
This makes 68 scholarships awarded by The Harmoneers Chorale since they began entertaining the people of south Riverside County in 1977.
