This mix is very different, and in my opinion, far superior to the subsequent 1989 single release. This is the version to have.

I completely agree. The new version(s) of Vox, with the extra backing vocals, suck anus. Luckily, this original 12" mix seems to be more common. You can find it on the Vox CD single (despite the single using the artwork from the new 12") and on Dead Time's Exploding Dream. If you want the crappy version on CD, it's on Rarities, B-Sides & Other Stuff.
