Tenement Symphony (subtitled Kies und Glanz, Grit and Glitter, Grès et Paillettes) is the seventh studio album by English singer-songwriter Marc Almond. It was released in October 1991 and reached number 39 on the UK Albums Chart. Tenement Symphony includes three UK Top 40 hit singles; "Jacky", "My Hand Over My Heart" and "The Days of Pearly Spencer" (which would become Almond's last UK Top 10 hit to date).

Javelin is a production duo based in Brooklyn, New York City. Cousins George Langford and Tom Van Buskirk started making music together in Providence, RI in 2005, although their earliest tape experiments date back to childhood. George plays the guitar, bass guitar, drums, and mandolin, while Tom plays the cello and piano. Drowned in Sound said the duo is "obsessed with old school hip-hop of an ‘80s vintage".

For the judges we, of course, had Jean-Marc Généreux, Chris Marques and his life partner Jaclyn Jackie Spencer (with whom Chris is the championship of salsa). However, during the tour the notes were in much smaller role than during the TV show. Either way, after each performance the judges gives the notes and gives critics for the performance.
Quite a change from the Sarah Records-type sound of Autour de Lucie's self-titled debut, 1998's Immobile largely trades in the gauzy acoustic guitars for subtle watercolor keyboards and electronic beats too subtle even to be called trip-hop. Like a Francophone Cocteau Twins or perhaps the quieter moments of My Bloody Valentine, Autour de Lucie creates sensuous, dreamy pop music that's got just enough substance to keep from floating off into the ether.
