Napalm Death - Harmony Corruption (1990).
Harmony Corruption is the third studio album by Napalm Death, released in 1990 on Earache Records. The style of the album was more death metal than grindcore, featuring extremely heavy riffs and deep low vocals. The album was recorded at Morrisound Recording in Tampa, Florida, where since many classic death metal albums have been recorded. Florida death metallers Glen Benton from Deicide and John Tardy from Obituary were guest vocalists for the song "Unfit Earth".
Napalm Death : Harmony Corruption,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен. Very solid death metal; one of Napalm Death's best. This record is when Napalm Death fully made the jump into death metal. Hints of it were present on the Mentally Murdered EP, but the songs on this record present a more much death metal-based approach to composition than their earlier records, and the production follows suit. This record admittedly does suffer from some flaws that keep it out of the upper echelon of death metal, but this record has enough going for it to be a pretty worthy listen overall.

This version of the now classic album is a bit different from the standard version as it contains the "Mentally Murdered" EP but the first four tracks from the standard version are nowhere to be found on this version. They are replaced with the first four tracks from "Mentally Murdered" -and then the entire "MM" EP is present after the bonus track "Hiding Behind". I knew it was an import but (honestly) didn't pay attention to what songs were included/excluded. This is not a complaint directed towards Napalm Death or "Harmony Corruption" as much as I missed the boat on owning the full classic album by owning an imported version.
