Once More with Feeling: Singles 1996–2004 is a greatest hits album by English alternative rock band Placebo. It was released on 30 November 2004 by record label Hut to celebrate the band's tenth anniversary. It features their singles from 1996 to 2004 (the only omission being the band's debut single, "Come Home") as well as three new songs: "I Do", "Twenty Years", and "Protège-Moi", the last two of which were released as singles.
After ten years together, eight of those spent on the . charts, Placebo exhume their past with Once More With Feeling: Singles 1996-2004. This 19-song collection includes all of their biggest hits, most notably "Nancy Boy" and "Pure Morning. It's also a look back on Placebo's conscious effort to maintain a campy, glam rock-influenced rock sound.

Placebo are one of the UK's most successful bands of the last 10 years, having sold one million albums in the UK and 5 million albums worldwide, with . million of those sales being from last year's Sleeping With Ghosts, which went Top 10 in 20 countries (including the UK). This success culminated last year with the band performing a duet on Pixies' Where Is My Mind with Frank Black in front of an audience of 18,000. With the help of Youtube I realised that there was a lot more to Placebo and a fair few songs that I really liked. I purchased the cd knowing maybe six or seven songs but listening to the rest of the album I now see what i have been missing.
