It's Love was produced by guitarist Chuck Loeb, who also appears throughout the set. Also in this studio band are Yellowjackets' keyboardist Russell Ferrante, drummer Gary Novak, and bassist Tim Lefebvre. Marienthal's love of pop-soul is displayed on the album's opening number, a cover of Brenda Russell's iconic "Get Here. It’s All Love Lyrics. why you bitches is broke Catching glimpses from your city where its fifty below. I heard them say, it's all love Fake hand shakes then they say it's all love I know they hate, it's all love And when you see me don't tell me it's all love You lost one, it's so silly How come you say it's all love You don't really, want none.
Now it's time to come out of the bawarchi image! We moved to London some time ago. A chance meeting with UK based percussionist Talvin Singh was an eye-opener. We'd love to work together again. The last time we came together was for 'Tomor Aakash' (2004), a Bengali album in which we brought out dad's unreleased songs. Music is big time out there. It's an exciting city. Thanks to the acceptance and respect they get in London, many Indian classical artistes have made the city their home. It's an amalgam of every culture you can think of. I love being there. I finally became net savvy! It's amazing to have the whole world on a tiny screen.
